  1. Turn off the electrical power circuit of the dishwasher through the circuit breaker
  2. Turn off the main water supply to the dishwasher located under the sink at the shut-off valve
  3. Read the manufacturer’s instructions before entering the dishwasher installation to ensure all steps are performed correctly and all parts are installed properly

Removing the Old Dishwasher

  1. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the front access panel of the old dishwasher which is near the door
  2. Disconnect the old wring of the old dishwasher which is positioned in the terminal box
  3. Disconnect the drain hose and disconnect the water supply of the old dishwasher by using a wrench
  4. Unscrew any screws that are located on the bracket which is used to hold the dishwasher onto the countertop and adjust any cabinetry that could be in the way
  5. Place cardboard or any other material in front of the old dishwasher to ensure it does not mark the floor when removing it
  6. Carefully drag and remove the old dishwasher from the area and tape down any wiring to the floor so it stays in place

Preparing for the New Dishwasher

  1. Unpackage the new dishwasher and keep it located near the new installation area
  2. Turn the new dishwasher onto its back carefully and remove the front access panel to have access to the electrical and plumbing connections
  3. In the installation kit there should be a 90-degree elbow fitting, attach this to the dishwasher water valve
  4. Have the olf supply line disconnected from the shut-off valve then supply the new line through the hole through the sink and dishwasher area
  5. Secure the new water supply line temporarily to the floor using tape and attach the new supply line to the shut-off valve
  6. Disconnect the old drain hose then place the new one through the sink and the dishwasher area
  7. Also temporarily secure this down to the floor using tape and attach the new drain hose to the sink pipe

Connecting Drain, Electric and Water Lines

  1. Carefully have the new dishwasher placed upright and smoothly slide it into the new place
  2. Use pliers to create a tight connection of the water supply line to the 90-degree fitting
  3. Turn on the water supply to look for any potential leaks and if any part needs tightening
  4. Connect the drain hose and electrical connections to the dishwasher following the manufacturer’s instructions
  5. Once all the drain, power and water supply lines are attached the electricity should be switched on again at the circuit breaker
  6. Before the dishwasher is installed into place test these connections and if they do not work correctly find what could be the issue

Installing the Dishwasher

  1. Ensure that the front of the dishwasher unit is flush with the countertop and cabinetry
  2. Use the level tool to ensure that the dishwasher is positioned straight and even on the surface. This is to ensure it sits securely and that the water can drain from the system correctly
  3. If the dishwasher is not level then adjust the height of the legs and ensure to tighten the locknuts
  4. Once the dishwasher’s placement is correct use the included brackets to secure the system in place
  5. Re-install or replace the front access panel and ensure that it is tightly secured
